Iranian Company Exports Liquid Oxygen Storage Tanks to 3 Countries
“Petrochemical and steel industries, hospitals, laboratories, etc. use these tanks, so we have indigenized them. Making them can be an important step in the country,” Fahimeh Tavallayee, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
She explained that the outer layer of the tank designed by her company is made of carbon steel, adding that the inner layer is also made of steel so that liquid gases can be stored well at high temperatures.
“The tanks we designed enjoy a capacity of one ton. In addition to producing and supplying domestic needs, we hve been able to export them to Syria, Turkmenistan and Iraq,” Tavallayee said.
Earlier reports in June also said that an Iranian knowledge-based company had succeeded in manufacturing high-quality oxygen and nitrogen tanks based on the standards and managed to sell them outside the country.
At present, the company is the largest manufacturer of liquid oxygen tanks, liquid nitrogen, liquid carbon dioxide and cryogenic equipment in West Asia with the ability to design and produce based on the international standards.
The company was able to receive the standards related to the product 7 years ago after 6 years of research and development, and subsequently participated in the Tehran refinery tender, while it had to compete with 7 foreign countries participating in this tender, and finally it won the tender for the construction of liquid nitrogen tanks due to the lower price.
After completing the Tehran refinery project by the knowledge-based company, it could receive an order worth of one million euros for producing tanks from a foreign company.
