Iranian Experts Make Device to Monitor Oxygen Pressure, Purity for Patients
“The purity meter or oxygen analyzer is a precise instrument for measuring the quality of oxygen output from the household and industrial oxygen generators,” Moslem Begol, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
Noting that the purity of the oxygen produced by the device is of vital importance, he said, “Since the oxygen produced by these devices decreases over time, and its reduction in purity has a direct effect on the therapeutic properties of the oxygen generator, we have made a portable and centralized sample of the device.”
“This device can be placed in the line and check the oxygen purity and pressure, temperature and humidity and display the information both on the device and online on the medical equipment table and help the clinical staff to monitor the oxygen purity online in the ICU and operating room,” Begol said.
“The smart tracheal tube cuff pressure control device also reduces the hospitalization time of patients in the ICU and reduces the complications of intubation in patients,” he added.
In a relevant development in April, researchers at an Iranian knowledge-based company had also designed and produced a device that measures oxygen consumption (flow) and manages its pressure and purity in hospitals.

This device is a control, monitoring, management and oxygen analyzer system and it was produced in order to release and disperse healthy oxygen gas without loss of quality in hospitals and other medical centers.
