Mojtaba Mostafayee, the inventor and producer of the device, explained about his company and invention, and told ANA, “We produce drug reminder devices with the Darouyar brand.”

“The company's product is a medication reminder device that is used to comply with the medication regimen of patients or their caregivers, and is a therapeutic aid device for regular medication use,” he added.

Mostafayee underlined that the device's speaker for making settings (speaker's manual), display of the ambient temperature, the warning of the speaker in case of high ambient temperature, convenient use and high accuracy are among the advantages of the device.

In a relevant development in June, Iranian experts at the Innovation House of Medicinal Plants of Islamic Azad University’s Isfahan Branch (Khorasgan) had managed to make 400 technological products by using the indigenized know-how and different advanced equipment.

“Among the latest events of the Innovation House of Medicinal Plants is the launch of the first specialized fab lab (or digital fabrication laboratory) for medicinal plants (laboratories for rapid manufacturing of innovative samples and its testing),” Kamran Safavi, the head of Innovation House of Medicinal Plants of the Islamic Azad University’s Isfahan Branch (Khorasgan), told ANA.

“Now, over 60 technological and knowledge-based units are stationed in the Innovation House of Medicinal Plants and they have produced 300 commercial products and over 100 formulated products so far,” he added.

“The establishment of a science and technology park or campus has also been included in our plans,” Safavi said.

"Iran ranks fourth in the world in production of science in the field of traditional medicine, and the remarkable achievement will improve in the coming years," Nafiseh Hosseini Yekta, the Director of the Health Ministry’s Persian medicine office, said.
