Iranian Company Produces Sanitary Gel for Women
“Moisturizing vaginal gel is one of our company's latest products which was made for the first time in Iran, and its unique feature compared to similar products is its long-lasting effectiveness,” Ahmad Sadeqi, the managing director of the knowledge-based pharmaceutical company, told ANA.
“In similar products, vaginal gel is used every night, but this product is used once every 3 days, which is more convenient for the user,” he added.
Noting that the structure of the gel is not hormonal, Sadeqi said moisturizing vaginal gel does not cause any complications in disturbing the balance of hormones in the user's body.
“The main product has a special polymer that is the monopoly of a British-American company and is not imported into Iran due to sanctions, but with the efforts of our company's experienced specialists, this polymer has been transformed into simpler materials and is used in the production of this product,” he said.
In a relevant development in June 2023, a technological company in Yazd had also produced a hand washing gel to get stains off hands and clean them without the need for water.
Iman Baqaeinia, the managing director of the technology company “Abadis Shimi Kavir Yazd” said in an interview with ANA News Agency that their company operates in the fields of reverse engineering and manufacturing formulations in the field of chemicals, including detergents, cosmetics and health, agriculture, textile industry etc.
“We have five years of experience, and since the beginning of this year, we entered the Growth Center of Islamic Azad University- Yazd branch, and now we are in the stage of becoming a knowledge based company,” he explained.
He also said that they reverse-engineered the hand cleaning gel and have supplied it to the manufacturers and industrial units.
“This product removes grease, oil, fat, paint and resin from hands of mechanics, repairmen and those who work with these materials inside the mine and do not have access to water,” Baqaeinia said about the applications of the gel.
