Islamic Azad University Professor Becomes Referee of Highly Prestigious European Journal

TEHRAN (ANA)- A professor of Islamic Azad University (IAU) has been picked as one of the jury members of "International journal Remote Sensing Image Processing" which covers the field of image processing and artificial intelligence.

Rasool Farhi, a Mahabadi researcher and professor of computer department of Islamic Azad University(IAU)-Mahabad branch in the west of Iran was selected as one of the referees of "International journal Remote Sensing Image Processing" in the field of image processing and artificial intelligence in Switzerland. The highly prestigious journal is listed in ISI journals and registered in SCIE citation index.

Moreover, another important database of ISI journals is the ESI (Edge of Technology Indicators) database, in which this journal is also registered and it is included in the annual JCR (Journal Citation Reports) list.

International Journal of Remote Sensing publishes international research on remote sensing of the atmosphere, biosphere, cryosphere and the terrestrial earth, as well as human modifications to the earth system.

According to the classification of this foundation, the magazine is in the Q1 category and has an IF of 5.2.
