Official: Iran among Successful Countries in Plastic, Cosmetic Surgeries
“Our country is one of the best countries in the field of plastic and cosmetic surgery, and at present, we do not send any patients outside Iran for such surgeries, and we have clients from different countries,” said Babak Nikoumaram.
He lauded the performance of the Iranian Health Ministry in educating people in this field, and said, “At present, nearly 25 to 30 plastic surgeons are being trained annually in the country, and fortunately, the quality of education in Iran is very good.”
Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involved with both the improvement in a person's appearance and the reconstruction of facial and body tissue defects due to illness, trauma, or birth disorders. Plastic surgery restores and improves function, as well as appearance.
