Iran, Mali to Cooperate in Training Artificial Intelligence Manpower
“This cooperation lays the foundation for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of artificial intelligence,” said Alireza Yari in a meeting with a number of representatives from Mali in Tehran.
“This cooperation can be the basis for the exchange of valuable knowledge and experiences in the field of artificial intelligence between the two countries, and it will help to train the specialized and efficient human resources of Mali in this area.
Also, Jacqueline Seguba Kunate, the head of the artificial intelligence and robotic industry center of Mali, expressed the hope that by signing a cooperation agreement between Iran and Mali, her country wound be able to take advantage of Iran's experiences and capacities to train human resources in the field of artificial intelligence while developing infrastructure.
In a relevant development in 2022, the Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology in the meeting with his Malian counterpart had said that Iran was ready to provide Mali with its scientific experiences in order to achieve scientific research successes.
Amadou Keita, the Malian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research was at the time visiting Iran at the head of a high-ranking delegation and was received by his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Ali Zolfigol.
In the meeting, the Iranian side said that Iran seeks expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with different countries in the field of science and technology.
Zolfigol added that the Islamic Republic of Iran was ready to expand ties and cooperate with Mali in various fields.
