Iranian Academic Presents New Plan to Settle Problem of Low Water Pressure in Apartments
“The problem of water shortage in cities has caused almost all buildings, specially apartment complexes, to use water pressure pumps,” Ehsan Abdoli told ANA.
He described high consumption of electricity, costs of repair, constant repairs, loud noise, etc. as some problems of installing a water pressure pump in apartments, and said, “Also, the power cut in a multi-story building which use water pressure pumps leads to the lack of water in all parts of the building.”
Abdoli said that the project of automatic tank for apartments is in the final registration stages and several purchase orders have been received.
He explained that the device enjoys several advantages, including pumping water in buildings without using a pump, providing sufficient water pressure, easy installation in buildings, easy installation and connection to cold water at home without any need for a float, completely hygienic without the need for washing, installation in balcony and basement, omission of plastic tanks in buildings, and use of modern technology, etc.
Many residential buildings suffer from the problem of water pressure imbalance in all the apartments in the building or in most cases in the apartments located on the upper floors. This is because water systems fail to regulate the changing use loads of building water consumption.
