Iranian Company Produces Corrosion Proof Prefabricated Concrete Structures
Hossein Beheshtinejad, the Managing Director of Dahr Arvin Nab Company, which is sponsored by Islamic Azad University’s Birjand branch told ANA correspondent on the sidelines of Asreh Omid Event run by Islamic Azad University (IAU) that the reinforced concrete is produced from raw materials that are resistance against corrosion.
“We start with the production of corrosion-resistant raw materials to add them to concrete and turn concrete into a resistant material. Then, in the final stage, which is the production of resistant prefabricated parts for strengthening the foundations of distribution networks.”
“We strengthen the distribution networks by using the prefabricated parts,” Beheshtinejad added.
He also said that he and his teammates in the Dahr Arvin Nab Company have also used knowledge-based companies’ service “to complete the issue of corrosion monitoring, monitoring of damaged structures and monitoring of structures that are exposed to corrosion conditions.
“Another product is multi-purpose concrete nanosubstance, which is added to the concrete to increase its corrosion resistance and compressive strength. This material is produced from minerals that are only found in South Khorasan province and around Nehbandan city,” he went on to say.
He pointed out that reinforced concrete is useful especially in marine and corrosive areas.
“Concrete structures in the electricity and water industry improve and increase the durability (lifespan) of structures,” according to Beheshtinejad.
The national Asreh Omid Event was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams and startups.
