Antibacterial Nano-Based Cabinet Garbage Can Produced in Iran
‘Sanat Sazan Ideal Plast’ company has made the lightweight and highly moisture-resistant garbage can in which the polymer body is modified by nanoparticles as an antibacterial agent.
The addition of nanoparticles into the polymer body has improved the antibacterial activity and efficiency of the garbage can in preventing the growth of bacteria and fungi.
Earlier this month, an Iranian company had also produced a special anti-block masterbach which contains nanoparticles and is based on polyethylene.
‘Baspar Pishrafteh Sharif’ company has made the product in which the added nanoparticles act as lubricant to facilitate the separation of polyethylene-based surfaces.
It enjoys favorable strength, formability, and low density, deserving to be used in packaging.
The masterbatch can be used in nylon packaging, beverage container, kitchen appliances, fuel containers and tubes and joints.
Masterbatch (MB) is a solid additive used for coloring (color masterbatch) or imparting other properties (additive masterbatch) to plastic.
