Iran-Made Nano-Based Thermal Belt, Bellyband Charge with Power Bank
According to Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council, researchers of a technological company produced heating sheets with nanometer coating for various applications, including thermal belts and bellybands.
Products based on this technology are used in different places; for instance, the bathroom mirror heating sheet with a nanometer coating prevents the formation of steam on the bathroom and sauna mirrors, and the mirror or car seat heating sheets increase driving safety and provide comfort to the passengers.
The flexible heating belt also has applications in medicine. The raw materials used in the heater contain nanoparticles that have the capability to keep the temperature constant without using other controllers. The product is also equipped with three power and heat adjust levels.
It is a personal heating pad for comfort anytime and anywhere and can also be used to relieve muscle cramps.
Iran has made nanotechnology a priority in recent years, achieving lots of success. In January 2022, the nanotechnology research website StatNano ranked Iran as fourth in the world in nanotechnology publications.
“The number of scientific articles is deemed a significant parameter for measuring and comparing scientific development,” read the StatNao report.
China was atop the rankings, followed by the United States, India and Iran.
Some other entities have also recognized Iranian contributions to the field. In February 2022, the American Institute of Physics published a scholarly article on the use of nanomaterials for cancer treatment by Iranian scientists.
