Iranian Company Makes CNC-PCB Milling Machines to Save Country Millions of Dollars
A CNC-PCB milling system (Milling Printed Circuit Boards) is a single machine that can perform all of the required actions to create a prototype board.
“The precision of the laser tract machine is 10 micrometers. It is manufactured for the first time in Iran. And in fact, it does not have an internal equivalent. This machine can automatically detect the curvature of the copper board and print the board without making any mistakes,” Mehrdad Hassanzadeh, the managing director of the technological Iranian company ‘Rasa Electronic Diyako’ said in an interview with ANA on the sidelines of the Asr-e Omid exhibition in Sirjan, Kerman Province.
“The CNC-PCB machine is used to print electronic circuits and pcb on fiber. The repeatability accuracy of this device is 10 micrometers,” Hassanzadeh said.
"The CNB-PCB milling machine can perform drilling, rooting, and V cutting operations," he also said, adding, “This device includes the design and construction of the structure, the controller circuit and the exclusive software that is all done by the company.”
The Diyako director noted that purchasing the CNB-PCB machine from overseas costs a lot while the price of the domestically-produced equivalent is half of the cost of the foreign model, so localizing manufacturing the device will save the country millions of dollars by preventing the imports of foreign equivalents.
“A team of six people at the company built this machine in a period of 8-9 month,” Hassanzadeh added.
“The CNC-PCB machine is mechatronic, electronic and electrical device and in fact prints automatically,” the Diyako managing director said.
Asr-e Omid (Age of Hope) exhibition was held on the campus of Islamic Azad University-Sirjan branch in the city of Sirjan located in the Southeastern Kerman Province on May 22-June 1, 2023.
