The pavilion of knowledge-based companies at the 24th international exhibition "Iran Health" held by Iranian Innovation and Prosperity Fund witnessed the presence of 24 knowledge-based companies. The companies presented their capabilities and achievements in the fields of medicine, dentistry, laboratory equipment and medicine.

UV spectrophotometry was the first product unveiled by the knowledge-based companies. The product is one of the most broadly used devices in most of the laboratories which identify and measure organic and inorganic compounds. UV spectrophotometry is a useful device with wide range of usage in various fields, including food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical products, dyes, essential oils, protein and nucleic acids, and agricultural samples.

ROBOX or doctor assistant robots was the second product unveiled in the event. ROBOX is used in performing therapeutic operations based on applying energy to the body surface. Applied energy source can be laser, plasma,  and RF in contact and non-contact modes. The idea of building the Robox platform was initially proposed due to the potential and need of the modern medical community for operational accuracy, increased speed and clinical efficiency.

The cold light source was the other product unveiled in the Iran Health exhibition, which is a device that works by generating light through a high-intensity discharge lamp or an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). These devices emit a bright, white light that is transmitted through fiber optic cables to the medical instrument.

The light produced by the device is transmitted from the light source to the telescope or the laparoscopic lens through fiber optic cords.

The other knowledge-based product was video laryngoscope device which is an enhanced, more robust device, designed to be used routinely in fast-paced hospital and EMS environments.

The knowledge-based device’s general application is to observe the larynx and the internal space of the respiratory tract in patients.

The hand rehabilitation device was the last product unveiled in the exhibition which is a modern hand rehabilitation device that, by using advanced technology and applying electrical stimulation to hand muscles, it restores hand function and reduces spasticity in patients with stroke (CVA), MS, brain injury (TBI), paralysis, cerebral palsy (CP), incomplete spinal cord injury (SCI) and some diseases which are similar to the mechanism of nerve damage.

Using the device gadgets, the patients can at least control their strenghth by moving their head or moving their healthy hand and use it in performing simple daily activities.
