Iranian Researchers Create Online Platform to Boost Tourism

"The tourism development plan of Majmae Hamyari or Cooperation Assembly is a creative service that is implemented by this group of technologists," said Abbas Bashiri, the manging director of the Iranian creative company, after saying that the activity of the company focuses on the field of tourism, the website of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology reported.

"This plan is designed with special and innovative features and with cultural, educational, tourism, welfare and online services in line with goal of the development of tourism with attractions for people from all groups of ages, especially the young generation," he added.

"The most important and central goals of this company is to find a solution and create incentive for the voluntary participation of people in tourism affairs, supporting the balanced distribution of money and travel in different regions, and improving the level of people's life standards," Bashiri added.

"This plan  which is in the field of tourism and virtual space business has been registered and presented on an online platform, and its audience, who are from different walks of life and with different levels of education, can access the services available on the website."

"This plan has empowered the company to create an environement for all the members in an atmosphere full of motivation and liveliness. It also helps the members to only receive cultural-educational services in tourism and handicrafts fields, but also they can receive special awards in the form of travel packages and valuable handicraft products which is much worth than the amount of money they paid for its subscription," he went on to say.

Bashiri pointed to the importance of the website in terms of raising the level of community awareness and level of information, introducing and supporting artists and handicraft producers, adding, "This platform boots ecotourism and creates revenues in rural areas and jobs for the locals through sale of artists' products and supporting travel and tourism agents via attracting passengers and customers."

He also said that assembly is made up of various tourism and handicraft clubs, adding that it has directly created jobs for more than 30 people and many more jobs indirectly.

"Creating a suitable space for attracting the audience in this tourism project can be materialized by a complex and specific combination of mathematical calculations and providing an innovative financial method called the 'reverse fund' whose combination with tourism and handicrafts is one of the advantages of this project," the researcher futrher said.
