Iranian Technicians Manufacture Different Parts for Solar Power Systems

“We are active in the field of electricity and electronics, renewable energies (solar power systems) and products like electronic protectors and controllers and power converters (inverters). Our solar power packages are ready for presentation,” Seyed Reza Jahanbin, the managing director of the knowledge-based Arta Fanavaran Garsha company stationed at the incubator center of Islamic Azad University’s Yasouj branch, told ANA.

“Given the problems and instability of the country's electricity network, using protectors is essential, and the first product of this company is high-quality electric protectors which enjoy quick reaction,” he added.

“Now we are active in making different products, including electrical and electronics parts and in the field of renewable energies (solar power systems),” Jahanbin said.

In a relevant development earlier this year, a technological company in Iran succeeded in developing a solar desalination system to provide fresh water in regions with access to salty water.

“In many regions of Iran, due to the lack of water and the draining of underground water tables in recent years, the level of water salinity has increased, and there are other regions that, although they do not have access to the water distribution and purification network, they have access to salty sea water sources,” Mehran Iranpour, a faculty member of Islamic Azad University’s Lanjan branch and the managing-director of ‘Shahr Aab Sazeh Irsa’ company, told ANA.

“Therefore, the development of small-scale desalination units is suitable for Iran, and the use of solar energy for water desalination is one of the most important applications of renewable energies,” he added.

“Our company has developed a solar desalination system to this end,” Iranpour said.
