Russian Innovator Hails Iranian Scientists’ Eye-Catching Progress in Developing Single Photon Detectors
“The level of Iranian scientists’ knowledge is very high and I know a number of colleagues from Sharif University of Technology (in Tehran) who have made good research on single photon systems,” Alexander Divochiy told ANA on the sidelines of the 12th International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX) in Tehran.
“Our company is the leading manufacturer and developer of single photon detectors. Every year, we produce and sell nearly 20 systems and now we are looking for customers in Iran,” he added.
Asked about the uses of his company’s products, Divochiy said, “The system has scientific applications in scientific research and quantum computing technology. Our systems are highly sensitive single photon detectors and they can detect very small particles.”
Focusing on science, technology, and innovation ecosystems, the 12th International Innovation and Technology Exhibition (INOTEX) was inaugurated at Pardis Science and Technology Park in Tehran on May 09, 2023.
The four-day event that has gathered a large number of Iranian and foreign business people, technologists, industrialists, university students and professors and researchers is hosting almost 450 companies.
Pardis Science and Technology Park is located around 20 km East of the capital city of Tehran.
INOTEX aims to introduce products, facilitate partnerships and provide various insights on the latest global competitive prices, quality standards, developments, scientific findings, and economic-technological ideas.
Currently, INOTEX is recognized as the most significant innovation and technology event in Iran and has been welcomed by many audiences in recent years.
