The recycling of wastes that are produced by human societies or industrial units is becoming more important day by day.

In this line, due to the limited wood or forest resources, the use of agricultural waste and waste such as fiberboard, plastics, cardboard, and waste paper has been paid high attention.

According to the World Bank, the total amount of urban waste production is expected to reach 6 billion tons per day by 2025.

Based on a possible urban population of about 4.3 billion people in the world in that year, the waste production per capita will be about 42 kilograms.

Meanwhile, only about 6 percent of the total waste production is recycled, some 10 percent is turned into compost, and about 84 percent is disposed of through the burial process.

Therefore, the problem of waste, or in other words, waste materials, has become one of the environmental problems for mankind today.

Researchers believe that a large amount of solid waste can be processed and recycled.

Burning, burying, and releasing these materials does not seem like a logical way to get rid of them.

Therefore, recycling and reuse of waste have been given special attention in developed countries, which shows the importance of recycling.

In an experiment on the laboratory scale, Iranian researchers turned fabric waste from a clothing manufacturer in Tehran into MDF by separation method at the source.

Results of the research showed that it is possible to make MDF with fabric waste fibers and it can be used to manage fabric waste.

In fact, the use of waste such as fabric in manufacturing a new product can be one of the solutions to reduce waste and thus protect the health of humans and the environment.
