Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Uses Nanotechnology to Protect Vehicles’ Underbody

The Iran-made insulation for the vehicles’ underbody which acts as a protector against various environmental factors has been developed by ‘Goharfam’ knowledge-based company. It enjoys high strength, amazing adhesion to all kinds of surfaces, good fluidity and uniformity, and can be dyed with no sedimentation and leakage.

The product can be used inside the cars' body, under the fenders, pedals, rear and front bumpers, as well as the frame in the car. Utilization of nanotechnology in the product not only settles the problem of supplying materials to a high extent, but also improves certain specifications of the product, including durability and strength.

The quality of home-made cars in Iran was improved and their useful life increased by using the new nano-based insulation, and there is no more need for importing the product from foreign states. China have previously had a big share in the market of this product.

The underbody of vehicles is exposed to all types of physical and chemical tensions, including splashing water, sand and gravel, mud, strike and abrasion, and if not protected, it will be quickly corroded and destroyed; therefore, its protection leaves a positive effect on improving the strength of vehicles.
