Iran-Made Web-Based Integrated Management System Unveiled
”Our company’s newly- unveiled integrated management system provides services to educational, research, cultural, economic, knowledge-based, and vocational sectors,” said Yousef Sedaqat, the managing director of Asr-e Danesh-e Pouya company, who is also the head of the information technology working group at the Bushehr branch of the Islamic Azad University.
“In today’s world, information technology is one of the most popular and the most attractive fields in the technology sector, holding great capacities for making revenues so that the highest paid jobs in the world are related to information technology,” he went on to say.
“Advanced web-based service systems materialize the goal of digital reform and are indicators of efficient structures for information technology and communications in each country. So, the use of web-based systems is a necessity for all organizations, companies, universities, and educational centers, in particular,” Sedaqat pointed out.
Sedaqat made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event which was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.
The event aimed to exhibit new achievements and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
The system provides a platform for introducing and selling the products of entrepreneurs and businesses online.
It has also the capability of doing online services related to students from enrollment to graduation.
Another feature of the system is appropriate for providing information about dates, venues, topics, and news related to national and international conferences and seminars.
Over the past year, in order to realize a knowledge-based economy, a series of activities have been carried out to further develop the ecosystem of innovation and technology in the country, according to the vice-presidency for science and technology.
Approving a law on increasing knowledge-based production, and expanding support of knowledge-based companies and institutions were among the activities.
Moreover, in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem development, 65 creative houses and innovation centers, and 30 specialized accelerators have been established nationwide.
