Kuwait Exports First Diesel Designed for EU
TEHRAN (ANA)- The Kuwait National Petroleum Company has sent the first batch of diesel designed for the European market, the company announced.
On board the tanker Polar Ace, around 38,000 tons of diesel that 'conforms to international environmental standards and specifications and is suitable for cold weather' were shipped from the Kuwait's Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, National Petroleum Company said in a statement.
The EU countries are set to impose a fresh ban on Russia’s oil products on Feb. 5, just three months after they banned Russia’s oil exports.
Along with the G7 countries, the bloc will also set a price ceiling for these products.
