Iranian Experts Use AI to Develop Educational Contents for Students

“We modeled it on platforms like Brilliance and Udemy. But it wasn’t enough. We had to convey complex and difficult content into the student’s language. So we opted ideation and designed difficult concepts in the language of games, stories, and adventures,” Khodadadi said.

She explained that at the starter level, students are introduced to artificial intelligence concepts through games, adding, “In the later stages, they are accompanied by characters like Godzilla to learn algorithms. Then they enter the world of machine learning, analyze data, and build their own models. At the same time, programming is taught in blocks so that students become familiar with this essential skill from the very beginning.”

"At higher levels, students become familiar with contents like neural networks. All of this content, videos, images, and additional features have been created by Iranian engineers on this platform," Khodadadi said.

In a relevant development in August, Iranian technologists at a knowledge-based company active in the field of natural language processing had also used artificial intelligence to develop a large language model (LLM), specifically for the Persian language, which is able to process and analyze Persian texts to be used in various industries.

The company focuses on building artificial intelligence systems that process and analyze Persian text for industrial applications.

“Our main focus is currently on the field of text processing and natural language processing (NLP), and we are trying to develop tools and products appropriate for the Persian language,” said Seyed Mohammad Baqer Sajjadi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.

"Among our customers is the National Artificial Intelligence Platform, which is going to provide a large language model (LLM) specifically for the industry," he added.

“Our main goal from the beginning has been to develop natural language processing for the Persian language. We also tried to create an integrated tool in the field of Persian NLP that can be used in industry, academia and other sectors, and fortunately, this goal has been achieved," Sajjadi said.
