Iranian Cars Produced in Armenia to Hit EEU Market

TEHRAN (ANA)- Based on an agreement between the Iranian and Armenian officials, production line of Iranian vehicles will be inaugurated in Armenia soon to later on be exported to the Eurasian Economic Union member states.

In a meeting between Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Alireza Peyman Pak and Armenia's Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan in Tehran, the Iranian official said, "An Iranian automaker is interested in setting up production line of its cars in Armenia."

He further said that Armenia's membership in the EEU will bring about unprecedented achievement for both Tehran and Yerevan.

The Member-States of the Eurasian Economic Union are the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

Narek Teryan, for his part, welcomed the presence of Iranian automakers and road constructor companies in his country.
