Iran-Developed Technologies Deal with Dust Phenomena
The report says that the technologies are often in the research or experimental stage and require financial support and continuity for national effectiveness.
These technologies include development of non-petroleum and eco-friendly mulches, nano and polymer mulches, indigenous early warning systems, air pollution warning applications, revitalization of water resources and wetlands with new technologies, green belt plan around Tehran and industrial cities and urban air purifiers.
In a relevant development in 2024, Iranian researchers at a knowledge-based company had also succeeded in intelligentizing the systems for recording and measuring the amount of air dust.
“The main field of activity of our company is manufacturing of devices related to the environment among which we can mention the smart device for measuring the amount of air dust with the capability to store data and send it to the internet portals,” Mohammad Bayati Poudeh, the managing director of the company, told ANA.
Noting that his company manufactured a collection of smart measuring meteorological devices, he said, “Due to the increasing problems related to the dust in Iran, measuring and identifying the source of dust is one of the most important parts of dealing with this national danger.”
“Our company is trying to settle this problem by making smart dust measuring devices in cooperation with the Department of Environment of Iran,” Bayati Poudeh said.
