“This company has a technology called CONTUNN Technology which is one of the latest technologies in the construction industry. It includes design and plastic mold services,” Managing Director of Abrak Tarh Company Ali Bahador said in an interview with ANA on the sidelines of the Asreh Omid Event.

“This technology has a very unique use in the construction industry and concrete roofs, and in fact, this technology is used to lighten the roofs so that the structure acts better during an earthquake. This technology also increases the distance between the columns so that the architectural design is done in the best way, and this makes the architects have more choices in their design,” added Bahador, who has a Master’s degree from Tehran’s Amirkabir University of Technology and a Ph.D. student in civil engineering now.

“The product of the Abrak Tarh company does not have a design similar to the roofs domestically produced, but in European countries such as Germany and Italy, there is such a technology to produce concrete slabs," he added.

He added that the advantage that technology developed by Abrak Tarh as compared to foreign counterparts has is that the roofs are 20% lighter and performs better than others during quakes.

“Our company is located in the growth center of Islamic Azad University, South Tehran branch. The product of this company is patented and globalized and has technical approval from the Ministry of Housing and has completed the tests. It has also reached mass production and commercialization. Despite all this, our company has not been approved as a knowledge-based company,” the managing director of the Abrak Tarh company added.

As regards the reason why they participated at the Asreh Omid Event, he said that they need financing and investment to increase their production power. “We hope that holding this exhibition will have a significant impact on the introduction of our company's product. Our main problem is money, because branding and commercialization have been done and we need financing and money to increase production capability.”

The national Asreh Omid Event was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation of 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams and startups.
