“With the productions we have made, we have taken effective steps in the field of internships, foreign exchange savings, and entrepreneurship in this province,” Akbar Khoshdoust, the managing director of the technological company based in the incubator center of Islamic Azad University’s Zahedan branch told ANA.

“These activities were carried out in relation to domestic production and replacing old lamps with LED lamps; old LED lamps had lower lumens, approximately between 40 and 60 lumens but now they have reached 200 to 220 lumens which indicates an increase in illumination,” he added.

“Old lamps with a power of 50 watts produced more heat but their illumination was lower, while our company's new lamps produce less heat and provide higher illumination,” Khoshdoust said.

“These products can be used in different parts of Iran, depending on the weather conditions, heat, cold, and humidity, and are used everywhere,” he added.

In a relevant development in 2023, an Iranian knowledge-based company had succeeded to meet the country's need for LED lights by relying on domestic experts and producing high quality LED bulbs.

“Our company was founded in the year 2021 and was recognized as a type-2 manufacturing knowledge-based company in May 2023. Our knowledge-based product is LED bulbs which has met the country's need for such products and their spare parts,” said Kaveh Nazari Leskoklayeh, the managing dorector of the company, according to Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy.

“The company opened with the use of 10 advanced plastic injection molding machines, with the capacity to produce 23 million pieces per year, and currently has 38 workforces, which is a great achievement for a newly-founded firm. Currently, we have used 35% of our SP capacity and we are launching the production of products that were expensive before and there was a need to import them from different countries, especially China. We have been able to supply to the markets products similar to imported ones even with much higher standards and quality,” he said.

With respect to creating jobs by their firm, Nazari said, adding, “Currently, we have 38 employees, and the company operating 24/7, and there are around 55 to 60 indirect employees in different departments, as well.”

“We also hope that by increasing our production capacity, which we have currently only activated by 35%, we will also be able to get to the market neighboring countries to export to them light bulb parts. Currently, as a lamp manufacturer, our products have received warm welcome from the consumers and our high-quality products can meet global standards,” the director of the company said.
