Iranian Knowledge-Based Companies to Participate in BUILDEXPO 2025 in Kenya
The Kenya International Construction Industry Exhibition, titled BUILDEXPO KENYA, as the largest specialized event in the field of building and construction in East Africa, will be held in Nairobi on July 16 to 18, 2025.
With the aim of developing the export market for knowledge-based products, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund of Iran has provided a targeted and effective presence for technological companies by supporting the establishment of the Iranian knowledge-based companies' pavilion at this exhibition.
Supporting the presence of knowledge-based companies in international exhibitions is part of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund's empowerment services in line with the development of technology-based exports and strengthening international business relations.
Knowledge-based companies and creative startups have grown over the past five years, and Iran has risen 45 places in the Global Innovation Index, according to the UNESCO 2021 Report.
The Global Innovation Index in Iran from 2015 to 2019 has risen from 106 to 61 with continuous improvement, showing 45 steps of growth.
The development of accelerators and innovation centers over the last five years has led to a rapid increase in startups and knowledge-based companies.
The Iranian officials have recently announced that over 10,000 knowledge-based companies are active in the country.
