Iranian Experts Find Way for Performing Hydrostatic Tests in Oil, Gas Industries
“Our company is active in the field of developing testing equipment for pipelines and pressurized equipment in the oil, gas, and power plant industries, and our latest product is a tool for hydrostatic testing of pressurized equipment in the oil, gas, and power plant industries,” Mahmoud Kavousi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.
“This tool eliminates blinding welding methods in equipment and performs the hydrostatic testing process at high speed with high speed, quality, and safety,” he added.
“In traditional methods for hydrostatic testing, tanks, boilers, valves, and pipes were blinded or welded, which was a long and time-consuming process. The tool developed in our company eliminates this process and performs the testing process 10 times faster and at one-tenth the cost,” Kavousi said.
Hydrostatic testing is a method used to verify the integrity of vessels and pipelines by filling them with water, pressurizing to a specified level, and inspecting for leaks or structural weaknesses. This test ensures the equipment can safely withstand its operational pressures.
