Iranian Polymer Company Exports Products to 32 World States
Mohammadreza Heydarzadeh, the managing director of AryaSasol, said that the company’s production was 1.784 million tons in 2022, which increased by 3% to 1.961 million tons in March 2024.
He said that expectations are high that this record will increase by the end of this year.
AryaSasol’s sales volume in the past Iranian year of (ended on March 19, 2024) rose by 5% to 1,163 tons, while sales revenue increased by 23%, Heydarzadeh said.
By the end of the first 10 months of the current Persian colander year, sales revenue showed a 41% growth compared to the same period last year, he noted.
Heydarzadeh also underlined that the company’s export markets have expanded to 32 countries, up from 16 states in 2022, driven by direct sales.
Reports said last August that an Iranian knowledge-based company had succeeded to mass-produce and export polymer materials, different types of masterbatches and compounds worth of nine million dollars annually.
Pouya Polymer Tehran Company (PPT) is active in the field of masterbatch and compound production, and while supplying a major part of the needs of downstream production companies in Iran, it exports over 30% of its products to different states, including South Korea, Germany, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Canada, Iraq and Pakistan, and the countries of Central Asia and Caucasus.
“The PPT company makes different products and supplies the needs of various industries. During the last 20 years, we have been able to successfully produce all types of compounds and related masterbatches and provide them to industries,” said Mohsen Honarian, the managing-director of the company.
“The company's products include compounds covering metal pipes and compounds and masterbatches of pipes and irrigation tapes and geomembrane sheets and products related to modern agricultural industries,” he added.
“The annual nominal capacity of the company and its subsidiaries is over 120,000 tons in the field of production of various polymer mixtures and engineering compounds. Also, last year, we exported nearly $9 million worth of goods and we were able to win the title of the best exporter of the year,” Honarian said.
