Iran to Launch Global Innovation City
“The National Park of Soft Sciences, Technologies and Cultural Industries is responsible for establishing the Global Innovation City and Creative Cultural Industries,” Imani Khoshkhou said.
“In this global city, whose statute is in the final stages, we will encounter a complex that combines production, export and transfer of experience; a complex that will be the largest tourist attraction in the city of sunshine with an infrastructure of 200-300 hectares,” he added.
“Countries that have cultural differences can communicate with each other through this medium, even all provinces can be in this city,” Imani Khoshkhou said.
He described fashion, digital cinema, tourism, specialized categories of cultural industries, recreational facilities, etc. as the fields present in the city.
In a relevant development, Tehran had hosted the 5th international conference of ‘Iran smart city’ on October 28 to 30.
“In this important event, efforts were made to provide a suitable platform for interaction between smart city actors, urban managers, industrialists, thinkers, experts, and knowledge-based companies to complete the smart city puzzle in the country,” said Mohammad Hassanzadeh, the scientific secretary of the conference.
“In this exhibition and conference, on the one hand, there was a space to display achievements, technologies, techniques, and tools for implementing smart cities, and on the other hand, the opportunity for scholarly analysis and introduction of the latest methodologies, scientific findings, and academic perspectives was provided,” he added.
“In the meantime, special attention was paid to the idea generation, startups, and innovations of the young generation,” Hassanzadeh said.
The main topics of the conference included smart economy, smart life, smart governance, smart environment, smart transport, and smart transformation.
The conference was held with various, high-quality programs and the attendance of domestic and foreign experts as well as practitioners with the aim of providing a proper interaction between smart city agents, city managers, industrialists, experts, and knowledge-based centers to complete the smart city puzzle in Iran.
