Iranian Specialists Manufacture Blind Spot Radar, Double-Glazed Car Windows
“The design and manufacturing of double-glazed car windows and blind spot radar are among the achievements of our center and efforts to promote and commercialize them continue,” Hamid Nakhayee, the head of the innovation center for vehicle optimization of Islamic Azad University’s Kerman branch, told ANA.
“Our innovation center has signed agreements and contracts to interact with organizations and industries,” he added.
“To expand relations and create the necessary infrastructure, we have also signed agreements with Kerman province's accelerators to use shared workshops and exchange ideas,” Nakhayee said.
The blind spot monitor or blind-spot monitoring is a vehicle-based sensor device that detects other vehicles located to the driver's side and rear.
Warnings can be visual, audible, vibrating, or tactile. Blind spot monitors may do more than monitor the sides and rear of the vehicle.
Most Blind Spot Warning systems use radar sensors, but some use cameras. The sensors are usually located under the rear bumper or side view mirrors.
The sensors monitor the areas behind and next to your car. The detection area covers approximately one lane width on both sides of your car.
