Nima Mirbuloki, the young researcher said on the sidelines of the Age of Hope scientific festival that he is the CEO of a company based in Islamic Azad University-Mashhad branch and heads a team of five people.
The young mechanical engineer who graduated from Mashhad Azad University said that he and his teammates conducted the preliminary research and found out that the idea to make the vehicle could be put into practice.
"The spider-style car is designed and used for driving over hurdles and on rough roads, exploring the nature and untouched areas like forests that are located on the slopes of mountains that even tractor cannot drive on, as well as for rescue operations," Mirbuloki added.
He added that their vehicle is also made in other countries and its design is based on spider’s moves.
He pointed to the other project that his research team has accomplished, saying, “The electric ambulance that was built at the request of Imam Reza Hospital in Mashhad is out other achievement. Patients who are in critical condition and need resuscitation and ventilators on the bed, this equipment should be placed on the patient's bed; therefore, Imam Reza Hospital applied for making a device that can move around in the corridors of the hospital, go inside the elevator, and install the equipment on it so that the patient does not have any problems during resuscitation and is comfortable. An electric ambulance was made and delivered, and it has been almost three years now that it is operating in the emergency room.”
He said that his company received an order to produce 10 of that electric device from Imam Reza hospital but due to the Covid-19 conditions the hospital withdrew its order.
