Iranian Experts Use AI to Make Video Game
“Our activity is in the field of game making and game making education which include different styles of games like adventure,” Mehdi Sadri, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
“We are making an adventure game that is about the life of a father and daughter who are at war and trying to find a way out. Fatherhood is an anti-war game in which the player takes on the role of a father who takes care of his blind child. This game narrates the destructive impacts of war on people's lives,” he added.
“The story of the game happens in the Middle East and various mechanisms for taking care of the blind child are embedded in it, including the mechanism of hugging the child to eliminate the fear caused by the war environment,” Sadri said.
In a relevant development in March, Iranian specialists at a knowledge-based company had also succeeded in designing and producing 2D and 3D adventure graphic games by using Unity and Blockchain technologies.
2D and 3D graphic games produced in the knowledge-based JAPCO company are mainly designed with the theme of entertainment and education and have the essence of adventure and competition.
Game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine can accurately implement the laws of physics in a video game.
“The game industry in Iran is a growing and promising industry. This industry has countless fans in Iran, and at present 64% of the Iranian population are members of the video game community. Considering that this group is mostly under 35 years of age, there is a lot of potential for the growth of this industry, specially for young people,” said Nasser Mahmoudi, the managing-director of the knowledge-based company.
“Among the other applications of gamification is its use in e-learning, e-exam and competition among the learners, which is very useful in the field of education,” he added.
