Iranian Scientists Produce Mesotherapy Rejuvenation Complex Solution
“This injectable solution for skin rejuvenation contains about 40 types of vitamins, amino acids and mineral salts useful and necessary for the health of skin cells, which was produced by the researchers of our knowledge-based company and it has been clinically approved,” said Alireza Firouz, the head of the Dermatology and Leprosy Research Center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and director of the clinical study of this product.
“This injectable nutrient solution with an approximate treatment duration of about two months was clinically studied a while ago and has received approval from the Food and Drug Administration of Iran,” he added.
“During several stages, we examined the skin variables of the clinical study volunteers and the results indicate positive skin changes and the visible effect of this skin rejuvenation product,” Firouz said.
Mesotherapy, commonly known as “biorejuvenation” or “biorevitalization”, is a technique used to rejuvenate the skin by means of a transdermal injection of a multivitamin solution and natural plant extracts that are thought to improve the signs of skin aging.
Over the past few years, the use of mesotherapy for skin rejuvenation has increased rapidly at a relatively high financial cost to patients. As no in-depth, evidence-based studies have explored the safety or efficacy of mesotherapy, questions remain about the scientific validity of this popular approach.
