“Software systems and cloud infrastructures are a comprehensive solution based on Kubernetes to increase the stability, accessibility and security of online systems, specially sensitive, complex and high transaction rate environments," Hamid Saqiri, the managing director of a knowledge-based company, told ANA.

Kubernetes, also known as K8s, is an open source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

“Kubernetes is a huge, rapidly growing ecosystem, and because it's free software, it's available to everyone. These services include tools, processes and software services needed by organizations and software development teams with the aim of responding to the needs of large-scale infrastructure and development teams,” Saqiri said.

“Any online system that exists in startups, companies and organizations can use and exploit these services,” he added.

In a relevant development in September, Iranian researchers at the Data Science Center of Sharif University of Technology with the support of the Development Headquarters of Connectivity and Communication Technologies of Iran had also succeeded in developing a system based on artificial intelligence that improves the security of communication networks.

“SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) system is able to intelligently help in quick response to cyber threats, and after detecting intrusion into an organization, it can quickly suggest the necessary measures to the security professionals,” said Siavash Ahmadi, a faculty member of Sharif University of Technology.

He explained that SOAR is an advanced security platform that focuses on three axes of coordination, automation and response, saying, “Coordinating and integrating various security tools and systems, collecting and managing security data from multiple sources, information security, quick and efficient response to security incidents, providing quick and effective responses to security incidents, prioritizing incidents, analyzing them and presenting recommendations to reduce or neutralize threats are among the salient features of this product.”

“Security and information technology teams, service desk and incident management systems, cloud platforms and external applications are the customer environments of this product,” Ahmadi said.
