Ali Goldoost, the developer of the online platform, referred to job creation as one of the main benefits of the project.

Speaking to ANA on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University’s Asreh Omid Event which was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla, Goldoost said the administration and the parliament approved last year a regulation about energy saving which had been issued in 2017.

Article 12 of the Law on Removing Production Obstacles states that plans must have feasibility studies, he pointed out

He went on to say that by improving productivity in industries, electricity, gas, and energy consumption can be reduced by 33 percent.

The idea has the advantage of job creation, he said, adding that the reason is that there are some industries in which optimization is quite evident.

Solving the extant problems of industries is among the other benefits of the plan so that the industries can present the complete and economically justified plan to the Economic Council.

Moreover, start-ups and research companies can be linked and launch joint projects, investors can invest in profitable plans that can create jobs in the country.

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has said Iran is among the 10 largest emitters of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the world, and the residential and commercial building sectors are the main contributors to this challenge.

Increasing energy efficiency in existing and new buildings contributes significantly to reducing emissions and addressing climate change.

Former Vice President for Science and Technology, Sorena Sattari, said in August that technologies in the field of energy should be indigenized in order to improve energy efficiency in the country.
