Iran Exports Nearly 1,500 Tons of Honey Last Year
TEHRAN (ANA)- A report said that Iran’s exports of honey has reached to 1,469 during the Iranian year calendar of 1402 (ended on March 19, 2024).
An official with Iran’s Agriculture Ministry said that the country exported 1,469 tons of honey in the past Iranian calendar year of 1402.
Mohammad-Ebrahim Hassan-Nejad, the deputy agriculture minister for livestock products affairs, has also said that 155,000 people are active in honey-producing industry, adding that the number of apiaries reaches to 94,932.
