Elaborating on the method to use the system, he said, “First, you should select a page of the Holy Quran, then click on a word so that its meaning will be shown at the beginning of the page; this section is suitable for Quran learner.”

“Its research part provides the researchers with the possibility of referring to dictionaries and Tafsir al-Mizan and Majma’ al-Bayan,” Javadi said.

He noted that the title of the project is ‘Understanding Quranic Words Based on Vocabulary" and its pages are based on 604-page Holy Qurans common in Islamic countries.

The Holy Quran, also romanized Qur'an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation directly from God (Allah). It is organized in 114 chapters (surah, pl. suwer) which consist of individual verses (ayat). Besides its religious significance, it is widely regarded as the finest work in Arabic literature, and has significantly influenced the Arabic language. It is also the object of a modern field of academic research known as Quranic studies.

Muslims believe the Holy Quran was orally revealed by God to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) through the angel Gabriel incrementally over a period of some 23 years.
