Iranian Company Develops Online System to Reduce Calculation Errors in Engineering
“To solve the problem of calculation errors, we designed an online system that can be used by civil engineers to get the calculation book in PDF format,” Mohsen Mahjoubipour, the managing director of a technological company said.
There are a series of manual calculations in the field of civil engineering which are time-consuming and may be associated with high errors. So, it is naturally not suitable for optimizing construction projects due to its time-consuming nature and high error.
“To solve the problem, we designed an online system and made it available to all civil engineers across the country. They can run the program and get a calculation book in PDF format that they can present to engineering councils and municipalities,” he added.
“The goal is to make the system bilingual and export it to boost technical and engineering services,” Mahjoubipour concluded.
In the same line, Head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) Alireza Peyman-Pak has said technical and engineering services worth $3.2 billion were exported in the past Iranian calendar year (March 2021-March 2022) to 18 countries.
Over the past year, the government has been pursuing a plan to increase the export of technical and engineering goods and services to neighboring countries.
