Iranian Knowledge-Based Companies Showcase Products at PETROCHEM 2024
The first international conference and exhibition of Iran PETROCHEM kicked off on Kish Island on February 13 with the motto of supporting the knowledge-based production in the petrochemical, refining and petro-refining industry, according to a report by the public relations department of the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy.
In the exhibition, which continued until15 February, a pavilion of knowledge-based companies was set up with the efforts of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, and 16 knowledge-based companies presented their products and capabilities in the petrochemical industry.
The products of these companies were as follows:
Management software
One of the knowledge-based companies that started its activity in 2008 with the offering of Enterprise resource planning software (ERP) has displayed its financial statement preparation software, consolidated financial statements preparation software, and its ERP at the Iran PETROCHEM.
Oil industry engineering services
A knowledge-based company offered its achievements in the field of providing technical engineering and research services in the fields of testing different types of filters and filter media in different industries. The products presented by this company in the exhibition include solutions for the filtration industry, a strategic laboratory for providing all laboratory services in the field of raw materials and products of the filtration part of different types of separators, masks and absorbents.
Pipe pressure gauges in oil industry
Another knowledge-based company has been supplying the needs of the country's oil and energy industry since 2004, and relying on the knowledge of domestic experts, it began to manufacture and locally produce various kinds of measuring equipment and precision instruments. The production of Bourdon tube pressure gauges and pressure difference is one of the products of this company, which are introduced in the pavilion of knowledge-based firms in the expo.
Power key adaptation
This company started operation in 2010 and first entered in the field of trade and equipment supply and then in the field of production. It has retrofit electrical switches in the expo.
Power switches are one of the vital components in electrical systems that control the electric circuit and disconnect or break electrical a circuit. In different environments, power switches must be able to adapt to changing conditions, and this is done by adaptation. In other words, retrofit switches replaces old switches.
Industrial suction machines
Another knowledge-based company was established in 2013, relying on 15 years of knowledge and capabilities and experienced domestic experts offered to market refining and petrochemical services, including catalyst handling, tank emptying and overhaul. The product presented in the Kish-hosted exhibition is an industrial suction machine with a roots blower pumps.
This Roots blower is a positive displacement lobe pump which operates by pumping a fluid with a pair of meshing lobes resembling a set of stretched gears. This Roots Blower is used in various industries as a blower and a sucker, which is produced with three-lobe rotors.
Gas compressors
The researchers at another Iranian knowledge-based company are operating in the production of process gas compressors, industrial gas production systems, process cooling equipment, and compressed air equipment. They have displayed their new product process gas screw compressors at the Iran PETROCHEM.
Oil industry simulator
This company started operation as the first specialized numerical simulation center in 2011 and has done hundreds of design, analysis and construction projects of advanced equipment in various fields of mechanical engineering. The design, simulation and numerical analysis of industrial machinery is one of the latest knowledge-based products of the company that has been showcased in the exhibition.
Financing in the oil industry
Another knowledge-based company participating in the Kish-based expo works on investment activities (financing), market development (marketing and market making), business development and technology development. It has displayed the services it offers at the exhibition.
Maintenance and support services
This company was established with the aim of consulting, implementing and providing data center maintenance and support services. The monitoring, control and environmental infrastructure management system of the ULTRANET data center is one of the products of the firm that is presented at the Iran PETROCHEM 2024.
Production of petroleum chemical products
The technologists at one of the knowledge-based companies participating in the Kish-hosted expo offered products in the field of chemical products for the oil and gas, refining and petrochemical industries. The chemical products of automotive industry, food industry, oil industry, heating and cooling facilities, metal industry, air, sea and land transportation are among the achievements of this company.
Advanced industrial machinery
Another company present in the Iran PETROCHEM 2024 started its activity in the innovation center of Sharif University of Technology in 2011 and has succeeded in providing various products and services in the field of designing and manufacturing mechatronic systems and advanced industrial equipment and machinery. Its advanced systems of test, control and pilot process of intelligent data collection are presented in the exhibition.
Heat Exchangers
Another knowledge-based firm which manufactures various types of welded plate heat exchangers, gasketed plate heat exchangers, shell and tube heat exchangers, technical tube coils and technical plate coils, air coolers, has presented its heat exchangers, coils and air coolers in the exhibition.
Oil industry laboratory services
One of the other Iranian knowledge-based companies offered its laboratory and research center services in the exhibition.
Remote terminal
In their company, a group of graduates of Sharif University of Technology focused on the design and production of monitoring and control systems in the field of electricity industry, and have offered their latest system remote terminal unit (RTU) for remote monitoring and control of the equipment at the Kish-hosted exhibition.
Specialized software for the oil industry
Yet another knowledge-based company that was established in 1999 with focusing its work on managing MC, PMC industrial projects and performing engineering on industrial and petroleum equipment has participated in the Iran PETROCHEM 2024. The products presented by this company in the exhibition include the SCBA mobile breathing air system, various kinds of specialized software required by the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Shell-and-tube heat exchanger
The last knowledge-based company participating in the exhibition has cooperated with companies active in the steel, oil, gas, energy, and food enjoying its know-how, experienced engineers during its two decades since its establishment. Shell-and-tube heat exchanger is the product it has displayed in the expo.
