Knowledge-Based Firm in Iran Develops System to Protect Data of Over 500 Organizations
“Keyhan (Galaxy) is a native system with unique features that makes access to enterprise services safe and easy. This product has received a warm welcome by government bodies and organizations, and now, by being established in more than 500 organizations, its applications in the client and server fields have been activated for more than 500,000 users and have made safe communication possible,” Vahid Nahvi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, said after highlighting that the development of this knowledge-based product was aimed at facilitating and securing communications among users and organizational servers.
“The geographical distribution of organizational offices, multiple data centers, providing services on cloud platforms, supporting remote users and using mobile devices all have crossed traditional boundaries of networks and organizations which are facing different risks to provide their services as compared to the past. The system for secure access to organizational services is designed based on the Zero Trust model and allows technology and information security managers to easily handle access to the organization's services and resources at the most detailed level,” Nahvi said.
“Being easy to install and manage, support for multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods, safe verification of users' devices, preserving confidentiality in the path of information transmission and relying on native and proprietary protocols and algorithms are among some superior features of this system,” the director of the knowledge-based firm said about Keyhan.
He noted that while the first edition of the data protection system was developed and employed by government organization in 2000s, it has been upgraded to tackle new risks faced by the major government bodies in the country.
“Protecting vital services in terms of access control and preventing information leakage, especially given the prevalence of the need for remote access and providing online services, is one of the important concerns of organization managers, and our system has resolved such concerns,” he concluded.
