Tunisia, Saudi Arabia Sign 7 MoUs to Boost Cooperation

TEHRAN (ANA)- Tunisia and Saudi Arabia signed seven memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, the Tunis Afrique Presse reported.

The MoUs aim to enhance cooperation between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia in the fields of water, environmental protection, agricultural scientific research, climate and meteorology, tourism, industry, and employment.

The deals were inked between Tunisian Finance Minister Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia and Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef in the Tunisian capital of Tunis.

At the signing ceremony, Nemsia, also Tunisia's interim minister of economy and planning, underlined her commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

For his part, Alkhorayef said bilateral cooperation will be further strengthened, particularly in the commercial sector and investment.
