Danesh Afarinan Negin Mandegar Company has developed a system that can be used at chicken farms, greenhouses, or any other field.

It can operate using solar, geothermal, or phase change material (PCM) - a substance that releases/absorbs sufficient energy at phase transition to provide useful heat or cooling.

Kavan Zareyee, the sales manager of the company, told ANA that many chicken farms are grappling with their inefficient heating systems that lead to the death of poultry.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event.

The newly-built system is capable of providing chicken farms with sustainable heat while not using fossil fuels and even electricity, Rezaei pointed out.

Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.

It aimed to exhibit new achievements and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Azad University.

Some 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research centers, and startups took part in Asreh Omid Event.

The growing atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) is widely known as the largest contributor to global warming.

Energy saving has become more than significant nowadays due to the shortage of energy reserves, considerably soaring energy prices and the growing significance of environmental issues.

More than 7,000 knowledge-based companies have so far been registered and are now operating across the country.

The companies are mainly active in the fields of biotechnology, agriculture, food, steel, gas, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, oil, electronics, telecommunications, information technology, and computer.

New approaches have been taken to support knowledge-based companies both in terms of quality and quantity in line with realizing the goal of a knowledge-based economy.
