Meqdad Taheri, the managing director of a knowledge-based company Fidar Electronics Dana, told ANA while he was attending Asreh Omid Event held by the Islamic Azad University in Tehran in May that electrical power converters are used in various industries, including oil and gas industries, military and defense industries, as well as airport equipment field.

Taheri added that in line with the country's needs for various types of electronic power converters in various industries and given the fact that this equipment and devices were imported from foreign countries, their company was founded in 2011 to meet the country’s domestic needs.

He also pointed out that the oppressive foreign sanctions used to create big problems for the import of those data-x-items into the country.

The managing director of a knowledge-based company Fidar Electronics Dana further explained that their company started its activity in 2011 to meet the domestic needs of the different industries.

The young engineer further asserted that 100% of the stages of the production of the power supply systems are done in their company, adding, “During nearly a decade of its activity, our company has carried out and successfully completed many projects with different industries.”

“The members of the board of directors of this company are the faculty members of the electronics department of the Islamic Azad University of Kangan branch,” according to Taheri.

“This company is in cooperation with state-owned Iran Electronics Industries, Pars Airlines, ATA Airlines and FARSCO, which is operating in the field of repairs and overhaul of the country's planes,” he went on to explain about their company.

“The knowledge-based products of this company include 400 Hz and 28 V ground power supply systems, which are used for all types of airplanes and helicopters; fixed 400 Hz power supply system in different power ranges according to the needs of existing aircraft; 28 volt DC starters with a starting current of up to 2,000 amperes, high power rectifiers with active pfc rectifier technology, ac-dc converters, DC-DC converters for solar cells; pulse distribution systems for phased array radars, and high voltage power supply systems for microwave lamps,” Taheri further explained.

The national Asreh Omid Event was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation of 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams and startups.
