Official: Iranian Knowledge-Based Firms Export 1bln Worth of Products
Speaking in a conference dubbed “Technology Exchange in Construction and Transportation Fields” held at the INIF compound in Tehran, Siavash Malekifar pointed to the services that the fund provides to the knowledge-based companies, saying that the number of the knowledge-based firms in Iran has exceeded 9,400.
He also said that as many as 41 conferences have so far been held in the country by INIF.
“The volume of the fund's financial services to companies is 47,527 billion tomans (Iranian currency) and the volume of the fund's capital is 3 trillion tomans,” he added.
He put the number of manpower working for the knowledge-based companies of the country at 266,000.
Malekifar touched upon the high capabilities and potentials of Iranian knowledge-based firms in various areas and said that these companies export more than $1 billion worth of products and achievements to other countries.
