Foreign Diplomats Get Acquainted with Iran's Nanotechnology Achievements
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 14th International Nanotechnology Exhibition, which kicked off on November 4th with the participation of companies and activists in nanotechnology in Tehran.
This meeting was attended by Emad Ahmadvand, the INIC secretary and Mirabadi, the Head of the International Interaction Center of the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, and a group of ambassadors and diplomats from other countries, during which a part of the achievements of Iran's nano companies in various fields were presented and introduced.
Afshin Ramzi, the executive director of International Affairs of the exhibition, told reporters after the meeting that it was attended by diplomatic representatives of various countries that had a history of cooperation with Iran in the field of nanotechnology, including Venezuela, Cuba, Indonesia, Brazil, Tajikistan, Nicaragua and Saudi Arabia.
“The purpose of the meeting is to familiarize the diplomatic representatives with our latest achievements and products in the field of nanotechnology, which are capable of being exported to those countries.”
Ramzi said that the foreign diplomats went on a tour to the exhibition based on the needs of the visiting countries, adding, “The needs of the countries are in different fields including agriculture, environment and water, medicine and construction.”
