Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Produces Smart Temperature Monitoring System
Zahra Kolahdouz, the managing director of a knowledge-based company, introduced her company's product as a new generation of smart monitoring devices and said that their system with distinct features such as speed, accuracy, high quality, easy to use, comfortable installation, the capability to define formulations and calculations specific to the types of goods and processes and the management dashboard of data aggregation and guaranteed analysis, gives an optimal and unique experience in supply chain management, Public Relations Department of the Iranian Innovation and Prosperity Fund reported.
She furthur named the monitoring system as Cool Tag PROCESS (FP600), adding, “This product is a smart electronic temperature monitoring tool from CoolTag data loggers and has the capability to receive and store temperature data real-time and offline. This tool is suitable for monitoring products in temperature and production cycle processes (pasteurizer/sterilizer and freezing tunnels). To read and receive information from this data logger, CoolLog software is designed in desktop version and transmits temperature monitoring information by being placed in a special reader device and has automatic start/end settings. The reader for desktop software is provided to activate, read information and turn off the data logger.
“All kinds of calculations related to Pasteurization Unit (PU) are implemented in the software for different materials,” Kolahdouz continued to say.
She further stated that the monitoring product “can be installed on the wall and inside canned, plastic and glass containers in the production cycle, and all these products are waterproof".
“This device saves up to 330,000 temperature degree points in its memory. The time interval between both measurement points can be adjusted between one second and above according to the sensitivity of the product and the needs of the consumer, and you can record the temperature data of your desired product every one second. The data logger has an internal clock (real-time) with an accuracy higher than 0.01%,” she added.
“The data logger battery is capable of recording up to two million measurement points at normal temperature and is also replaceable. Access to the data logger settings and extracting its information is done exclusively and encrypted by the software, which prevents disruptions in the reporting process and common cheatings. It is also possible to reset the data logger only by entering the CoolLog user panel and reading data logger information,” the managing director of the knowledge-based company continued to say.
“Food industry factories used the German-Dutch Hoffmann device to monitor the pasteurization process in the pasteurization tunnel for beverage products. That device was very big and heavy and it was difficult to read its data. In addition, the device had to be sent to Europe for repair services, etc., which caused several months of interruption in monitoring the production line. The Cool Tag Process device was designed and built for the first time to meet the need of these food factories. The small diameter of the device allows the device to enter directly into the drinking glass. Due to its high speed and accuracy and miniature size, it does not have the limits of the previous device and is the smallest data logger of its kind in the world. Due to its steel material, it can be used in food industry production lines and can collect the temperature report of the entire line along with the product,” Kolahdouz concluded, according to the Fund’s report.
