Islamic Azad University’s Specialists Save People’s Lives with 2 AI-Based Products
“Two technological companies stationed at the growth center of the university presented two products in this exhibition based on artificial intelligence which save people’s lives,” Abdol Baqi Qaderzadeh, the head of the incubator center of the Islamic Azad University's Sanandja branch, told ANA on the sidelines of Asr-e Omid event and exhibition in Karaj.
“The first company which has won gold and silver medals in the world for its achievement has presented a product which saves people’s lives against gas leakage. The company has designed smart arms on windows which automatically opens them when there is a gas leakage and saves people’s lives,” he added.
“The second company has provided software for aircraft control devices and patient control devices. The artificial intelligence-based system designed by the company controls the errors in the software design phase of these devices and informs the engineers about the possible errors so that the software can reach the code and implementation phase with the minimum errors,” Qaderzadeh said.
The fourth edition of the national Asr-e Omid (age of hope) event and exhibition in the specialized field of artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) was held at Islamic Azad University’s Karaj branch near Tehran on October 14-17.
Last October, an Iranian researcher had also announced production of smart gas regulators by an Iranian knowledge-based company which are capable of preventing gas leakage in both household and industrial units.
"If it is going to happen a gas leak, this product will automatically prevent the danger,"Peyman Moradkhani, the manager of s knowledge-based company, said while pointing to his invention for preventing gas leakage.
"If the gas regulators are hit by an earthquake or even a fault, the smart switch starts measuring and prevents the gas from entering the houses and suffocating the residents," he added.
