“Beirano's fever-detecting wearables change color slowly when the child's body temperature increases above 37 degrees Celsius, and when the temperature rises above 38 degrees Celsius, it turns completely white, after treating the child and when the risk is over, it changes back their original color, showing to the parents that the child's condition is back to normal,” Behrouzi said.
She said that they started to work on the fever-detecting infant's clothing project after they felt the need in the society, adding that their products have three main properties: physical; modern technology; and being smart feature.
Regarding the physical aspect of the infant's clothes, she said, “It is a woven dress of the highest quality yarn, the fabric used in it is cotton, and it completely protects the babies' body and sensitive skin, prevening occurrence of allergies.”
She said about the modern technology aspect of their product that they have utilized thermochromic technology to prepare the best raw materials to produce it, so through the efforts of the research and development (R&D) of Beirano team of researchers, its color is completely fixed on the textile and does not lose the original color after any washing modes.
“It senses the environmental conditions and adapts itself to it, and is able to perform tasks based on a predetermined plan,” the director of the company said while talking about the smart aspects of Beirano.
The clothes are produced in the form of clothes, socks and hats and easily show high body temperature through changing color, she explained more.
