“In Iran, we have two types of imported vehicles that can use these chargers. Our target markets are other countries rather than domestic market,” Hossein Adibi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company told local Iranian media.

“One of the types of imported cars that can use these chargers is the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. This car has two tanks and is hybrids and uses both gasoline and batteries as its fuels. The fuel consumption of this car is 2 liters per 100 km, which means that it consumes 2 liters of gasoline per 100 km. The chargers produced by this company can be used for this car,” he added.

Adibi said that the BMW I8 is the second vehicle that can be recharged with their adopters.

The managing director of the company pointed out that although their prime target is exports to other countries' markets, they plan to supply these chargers in the country as one of the other goals of the production of the product, adding, “In the future, if the ban on the import of cars will be lifted, due to the lower tariffs of hybrid and electric cars, we are planning to sell this product in Iran too.”
