Iranian Company Produces Batteries for ATM Devices
“Designing and manufacturing batteries and energy storage sources is one of the activities of our company and we have recently succeeded in producing batteries and backup batteries of the ATM devices,” Mohammadreza Seif, the chairman of the board of directors of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
Noting that the ATM batteries were among the objects imported to Iran so far, he said, “We were able to produce them domestically at half the price of the foreign sample.”
Seif explained that lithium batteries consist of three parts of battery cells, their connection and arrangement, and the charging circuit, adding, “The application of the charging circuit is to prevent explosion and overheating.”
Earlier this month, another Iranian company had also succeeded in using nanotechnology to produce lead acid battery expander with application in auto-making industry.
‘Nanoshimi Novin Iranian’ company made the product which is a nanoparticle-modified lead acid battery expander, providing facilitated electron conduits to transfer between the poles of the battery.
The addition of nanoparticles to the battery expender has resulted in fast charge and discharge rate.
The expander can be used in automotive battery.
